Orange Romania expands 5G network to Galati

Orange Romania has expanded its 5G/5G+ network to the city of Galati, enabling customers with a 5G subscription and compatible handset to access theoretical download speeds of up to 1.5Gbps. The operator’s 5G mobile services are now available in 38 cities throughout the country, including Arad, Braila, Bacau, Craiova, Brasov, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Iasi, Miercurea Ciuc, Sibiu, Suceava, Oradea, Timisoara and Targu Mures, as well as mountain and summer resorts, and towns in Ilfov county. Eight of these cities benefit from 100% 5G coverage, namely Arad, Baia Mare, Bucharest, Miercurea-Ciuc, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava and Targu Mures.
