Polish fixed and mobile operator Play (registered as P4), which is part of French group Iliad, aims to complete the sale of a 50% stake in its fibre networks business by the end of this month. Under the deal announced back in June 2022, investment fund InfraVia Capital Partners is paying PLN2.38 billion (USD538 million) for the interest in wholesale operator Polski Swiatlowod Otwarty (PSO), which covers around 3.7 million homes. Telko.in reports that PSO has secured a PLN5.8 billion loan with a consortium of banks to fund the expansion of its fibre networks to pass a further two million premises.
