e& sees sales slide 1.7% in 2022

United Arab Emirates (UAE) telco e& (formerly Etisalat Group) has recorded a preliminary 1.7% decline in revenue in full-year 2022 to AED52.43 billion (USD14.27 billion), while profit attributable to owners of the company climbed 7.4% to AED10.01 billion. Operating profit stood at AED12.92 billion in FY 2022, improving on the 2021 result of AED12.80 billion. Operational highlights will be published with the full financial results on 6 March.
