Claiming a first for Singapore, fixed and mobile provider StarHub has announced plans to trial 10Gbps ‘UltraSpeed Broadband’ nationwide. The trial will utilise 10Gbps-capable Symmetric Passive Optical Network (10G-XGS-PON) technology, it said. Customers wishing to test the service can access the service for SGD119.90 (USD90.1) per month which includes free delivery and installation of the network equipment.
