Dialog Home Broadband introduces uber affordable pre-paid data plans

Dialog Axiata subsidiary Dialog Broadband Networks has launched two new Home Broadband pre-paid plans in Sri Lanka as it seeks to keep its promise to deliver affordable and accessible internet services to the Sri Lankan people. The plans comprise ‘10GB Anytime Data’ for LKR299 (USD0.82), valid for 14 days, and ‘20GB Anytime Data’ for LKR540 (valid for 30 days).

TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database writes that Dialog Axiata is the fixed broadband market leader in Sri Lanka with a market share of close to 50% at end-September 2022. Its entry-level monthly contract ‘Starter Package’ costs LKR1,090 including a peak 4Mbps/1Mbps (download/upload) connection and 40GB of data (of which 20GB is off-peak).
