Vodafone Greece to switch off 3G by mid-2023

24 Jan 2023

Vodafone Greece says it expects to complete the phased shutdown of its 3G network by the middle of this year. The operator says customers should check which technology is supported by their device and SIM card. Free SIM replacements are being offered where necessary. Rival operator NOVA recently announced that it would complete its own 3G network closure by the end of March this year, while mobile market leader Cosmote switched off 3G services in March 2022.
