Fiberhost reaches 1.15 million homes in Poland

23 Jan 2023

Polish open access network provider Fiberhost says its networks covered 1.15 million properties at the end of 2022, up from 740,000 a year earlier. The company, which was established by broadband ISP INEA but has been a separate entity since July 2021, has deployed infrastructure in 8,000 towns and villages under the government-backed Operational Programme Digital Poland (Programu Operacyjnego Polska Cyfrowa, POPC). Fiberhost aims to reach 1.3 million properties by mid-2023, Telko.in reports.

CEO Marta Wojciechowska commented: ‘More than 100 suppliers have already signed contracts with Fiberhost for the provision of retail services, thanks to which individual customers can choose an offer for themselves, both from the largest operators and local suppliers.’
