5 Jan 2023

Belarusian operators A1 and MTS are cooperating to expand their mobile network coverage in rural areas under a RAN sharing agreement. As reported by CommsUpdate last month, A1 has implemented RAN sharing technology across the country, and the operator now says that it has agreed a deal with MTS to share infrastructure using the 900MHz band at 369 sites. The project is expected to be in commercial operation by the end of March.
