Free has deployed a 5G private network at Alcatel Submarine Networks’ (ASN’s) site in Calais (France). With 57 indoor 5G access points and two outdoor 5G access points, the private 5G network as designed, rolled out and integrated by Free Pro’s and Free Mobile’s teams, thus making ASN’s Calais site what the companies term as ‘Europe’s largest 5G-connected manufacturing facility’.
