Italian businesses get broadband bonus

The Italian government is extending its SME broadband voucher scheme until the end of next year. The scheme, which is backed by the EC and had been due to expire on 15 December 2022, enables small businesses to apply for subsidies of up to EUR2,500 (USD2,623) to help them upgrade their communications links. A report from CorCom says EUR430 million funding is still available under the project.
