MegaFon Tajikistan, a subsidiary of Russian cellco MegaFon, reports on its website that it has doubled the coverage of its ‘Internet For Home’ fibre broadband coverage in Dushanbe. Having previously reported in October that it connected customers in 200 apartment buildings in the capital, MegaFon executive Alijon Ganiev announced on 30 November that Internet For Home covered ‘another 250 buildings and almost 16,000 apartments’. In most districts of the city, MegaFon can extend its fibre connections to new customers if at least five households in an apartment block pre-order its services.
