Fixed number portability is finally live in Argentina

Fixed number portability (FNP) was belatedly enabled in Argentina on 21 October, the National Communications Agency (Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones, ENACOM) revealed in a press release issued last month. In compliance with ENACOM Resolution 1514/22 more than 30 telecoms companies have registered as ‘receivers’. Fixed voice providers have a five-day window within which to complete the porting process.
