Azercell taps Amdocs for digital transformation

Azerbaijani mobile network operator (MNO) Azercell has selected software and services provider Amdocs to help with its wide-ranging digital transformation. Under the multi-year agreement, the first major engagement between the two companies, Amdocs will modernise Azercell’s customer care, commerce and network systems, implementing a cloud-native, modular, microservices-based platform. As well as ensuring an enhanced experience for Azercell’s consumer and enterprise customers, Amdocs’ pre-integrated solution will enable Azerbaijan’s largest MNO by subscriptions to improve time-to-market agility for new products and services while increasing efficiency through the streamlining and digitisation of processes.
