Epic Cyprus to replace copper infrastructure with fibre

Cypriot operator Epic (previously MTN Cyprus) has informed its subscribers that it has commenced work on a project to replace its fixed infrastructure. Under the project, the operator will replace its copper-based fixed broadband and fixed voice networks with fibre-optics. The upgrade began in November in various areas and will continue over the ‘next few years’.
