4 Oct 2022

Tusass (TELE Greenland) has launched 5G Non-Standalone (NSA) Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) trial services in Sisimiut, Maniitso and Narsaq, in cooperation with Ericsson. Going forward, the operator is aiming to deploy the service in Ilulissat, Nanortalik, Nuuk, Paamiut, Qaqortoq, Qasigiannguit, Qeqertarsuaq, Upernavik, Uummannaq and Aasiaat. Tusass’ CEO Kristian Reinert Davidsen commented: ‘By deploying 5G we will touch the daily life of all Greenlanders. Mobile connections are extremely important in the Arctics and to many families and households in Greenland it is the only line of contact.’
