Cambodian ISP MekongNet has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China’s Huawei to provide better internet services and improved connection in the country. ‘This is a special day for Huawei and MekongNet. We are happy to cooperate with one of the world’s leading companies in communications solutions. After this, we hope to work more closely with Huawei to bring new products and share technological solutions to Cambodia in the future,’ commented MekongNet CEO Sok Channda. Founded in 2006, MekongNet is the ISP and IXP business of Angkor Data Communications Group, which was established in January 2005. It provides a range of internet and data products and solutions, including fibre-optic broadband, cloud services, hosting, VoIP telephony, VPNs, colocation, CPE managed services, IP transit, international and domestic private leased circuits.
