T-Mobile Poland is to begin its nationwide 3G network shutdown on 26 September. The firm says it has already completed trial shutdowns in four areas of Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship, freeing up spectrum to support its 4G and 5G networks, and will continue work in the south of the country, aiming for a full nationwide switch-off by the end of 2023. T-Mobile has already stopped using the 2100MHz band for 3G services, having completed its migration in October 2021.
