ComReg issues finding of non-compliance to Three Ireland related to universal service regulations

2 Sep 2022

Ireland’s Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg) has announced that it has notified mobile network operator (MNO) Three Ireland of a finding of non-compliance with respect to obligations under universal service regulations. In a press release regarding the matter, the regulator noted that the notification to Three relates specifically to a failure by the cellco to comply with regulations, as the contract provided to its customers ‘does not specify in an easily accessible form the details of prices and tariffs appropriate to their plan’. Three has been given until 22 September to state its views on the matter.
