Elisa Estonia has expanded its 5G network to almost 10% of the population, with recent switch-ons in Harju, Parnu, Rapla and Tartu counties. The cellco says it has deployed 5G equipment at more than 60 sites over the past two months. Elisa used its newly awarded 3.5GHz spectrum to launch 5G services in June this year, though connectivity is currently only available to home and office users in fixed wireless mode, with full mobile services to be introduced in the fourth quarter.
