Beeline Uzbekistan deploys 1,350 base stations in year to-date

Beeline Uzbekistan reports that it has deployed more than 1,350 new base stations in the year to-date, including a batch of more than 430 rolled out in June-July, significantly improving mobile coverage and capacity, with a main focus on 4G LTE technology. New base stations were installed in locations ranging from existing areas of high user demand to small rural communities, with 4G installations occurring in 330 settlements, including five remote villages previously without connection. The expansion took Beeline’s active base station total to more than 14,000. The cellco now claims 92% mobile population coverage and 70% 4G LTE coverage, the latter rising by eight percentage points since the beginning of 2022.
