Tiscali and Linkem to offer services as Opnet, report says

The board of Italian ISP Tiscali has approved the company’s industrial plan for 2022-2025 covering its integration with merger partner Linkem. The two firms agreed to combine in December, with shareholders giving the green light to the tie-up in April. A report from UpGo says the companies plan to launch a new fixed broadband operation under the name Opnet by the end of the year to unite their fibre and 5G fixed wireless access (FWA) networks.
