AzTelekom, Baktelecom to upgrade broadband speeds

Azerbaijan state-owned operators AzTelekom and Baku Telephone Communications (Baktelecom) have announced plans to switch customers to new broadband packages next month. To satisfy growing demand for high speed internet access, the companies will withdraw their 4Mbps and 10Mbps connections and transfer customers to packages supporting download speeds of 15Mbps and 30Mbps, respectively, from 6 August.
