Shaw Business launches 2Gbps internet service

Shaw Communications’ business division has launched ‘Fibre+ Gig 2.0’, a 2Gbps internet service aimed at supporting demand from businesses of all sizes across Western Canada to connect their data-heavy applications and cloud services. Shaw Business Fibre+ Gig 2.0 is available in over 97% of Shaw’s Western Canadian footprint, including urban and smaller business centres. A press release adds that Gig 2.0 features unlimited data volume usage and is ideal for clients operating multiple locations who utilise multiple connected technology services simultaneously, from in-store Wi-Fi and point-of-sale systems to videoconferencing tools, multiple connected workstations and cloud services.
