FY sales down 2% for Botswana’s BTC

Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC) has reported revenues of BWP1.39 billion (USD112 million) for its financial year to 31 March 2022, down from BWP1.43 billion the previous year, with growth in its data business failing to offset a decline in voice services. Net profit climbed from BWP137.9 million in FY 2020/21 to BWP140.8 million in the period under review. State-backed BTC offers a full range of fixed and mobile services.
