freenet launches LTE-based flexible internet offer

30 Jun 2022

German telecoms service provider freenet has announced the launch of its new LTE-based internet service which can be managed flexibly via an app and can be cancelled on a monthly basis. ‘freenet Internet’ is aimed at people with a flexible lifestyle who want to access the internet from anywhere. The service forms part of a third and new strategic ‘Internet’ business area, alongside the firm’s existing ‘Mobile Communications’ and ‘TV and Entertainment’ segments, expanding on its digital lifestyle portfolio. The new business area will be expanded on further with freenet’s planned launch of DSL services later this year.

Priced at EUR29.99 (USD31.45) per month, the offer includes maximum downstream speeds of 100Mbps and 100GB of data in the Telefonica Deutschland network.
