Airtel extends FTTH connectivity to Ladakh, Andaman, Nicobar Islands

Bharti Airtel has extended its ‘Airtel Xstream Fiber’ fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) service to Ladakh, Andaman and the Nicobar Islands. As a result of the rollout activity, FTTH connectivity is now available in 847 towns and cities across India. Going forward, Airtel expects to cover 2,000 locations with fibre by 2025. As per the press release, Airtel Xstream Fiber counted over 4.8 million subscriptions as of 31 March 2022.
