Telemach claims almost nationwide 5G in Croatia

Telemach Croatia claims to have covered almost the entire country with its 5G network, having upgraded close to 1,200 base stations. A report from HINA adds that 100,000 properties now have access to Telemach’s fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) infrastructure which offers download rates of up to 10Gbps in parts of Zagreb, Zadar and Split. A rollout in Osijek is due to be completed soon with the fibre deployment due to be completed by next year as Telemach continues to integrate the assets of its subsidiary Optima Telekom.
