Yettel launches 5G office internet for Hungarian SMEs

9 Jun 2022

Mobile operator Yettel Hungary has launched ‘IrodaNet Pro’, a 5G network-based fixed broadband internet service for SMEs. The launch follows last month’s introduction of Yettel’s residential ‘OtthonNet Pro’ 5G fixed internet service.

Yettel confirmed that IrodaNet Pro provides unlimited monthly data traffic via a fixed Wi-Fi router connected over its 5G mobile network, capable of download speeds of up to 1Gbps – achievable in 5G network coverage zones ‘with adequate reception, using a ZTE MC7010 outdoor modem with a 2.5 GbE LAN computer connected to the modem’s internal power supply with a CAT6 UTP cable.’ Yettel adds that the service is primarily aimed at businesses that require a high speed connection to multiple devices simultaneously.

Yettel’s range also includes ‘IrodaNet 300/1000’ fibre broadband B2B services as well as packages based on mobile Wi-Fi routers.
