Telefonica Hispanoamerica enlists Mavenir to supply cloud-native core in Mexico, Colombia, Chile

Telefonica Hispanoamerica, which manages Telefonica’s subsidiaries across Latin America (excluding Brazil), has selected Mavenir to supply its cloud-native IMS core solution for its fixed and mobile operations in Mexico, Colombia and Chile. The solution will be deployed on TCloud, Telefonica’s private telco cloud infrastructure, and will serve as ‘the foundational technology for 5G networks’ ahead of a network modernisation programme.
