Ooredoo brings FTTH to five additional areas of the Sultanate

Ooredoo Oman has recently expanded its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband service to additional locations in the Sultanate. Customers in areas of Saham City Centre, Hay Al Kawthar, Al Swaiq Al-Subaiki, Saham Heights and Wilayat Al Khabourah (Soor Qtaut and Qasabit Al Zabare) are now able to access maximum speeds of 1Gbps on the network, with Hamriyah set to be added in the near future. Ooredoo’s ‘Fibre Home Internet’ is already available in several locations across the county, including parts of the cities of Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, Al Batinah, Al Musannah, Nizwa, Ibri, Ibra, Rustaq and Barka.
