Guyanese ISP E-Networks has extended its fibre backbone network to Berbice, Linden and Essequibo, Kaieteur News reports. In addition, the operator has launched LTE-based fixed wireless broadband services in Kuru Kururu on the Linden/Soesdyke Highway. E-Networks CEO Vishok Persaud claimed that the operator’s network expansion has delivered a ‘significant boost’ in connectivity to six towns and many rural areas. The official was quoted as saying: ‘Whether you’re in Georgetown, Kuru Kururu, Essequibo, Berbice or Linden, all our services are the same quality. We make sure all Guyanese have access to first-world technology regardless of where they are.’
