Shareholders approve Tiscali-Linkem merger

Shareholders of Italian ISPs Tiscali and Linkem have approved their merger, which was first announced in December. Linkem Retail, a wholly owned unit of Linkem, will be incorporated into Tiscali, with Linkem shareholders taking a 61% interest in the combined entity. Linkem operates TD-LTE and 5G-based fixed wireless access (FWA) networks, while Tiscali offers fibre and VDSL connectivity.
