C Spire launches Solo sub-brand

Regional US mobile provider C Spire has launched a new pre-paid sub-brand named Solo. Solo is an online-only proposition, while access is currently restricted to Mississippi residents. The sub-brand’s initial tariff is a USD35 per month unlimited package. Farris Antoon, director of Marketing and e-Commerce (Wireless) at C Spire, told Fierce Wireless: ‘The target audience for Solo is a tech-savvy, value-driven segment that has no need for retail stores.’
