Telekom Slovenije 3G shutdown by end-September

Telekom Slovenije has announced that it will phase out its Slovenian 3G mobile services by 30 September this year in order to free up spectrum for its 4G and 5G systems. The firm says the more advanced technologies now account for 99% of its data traffic. It is the first of Slovenia’s four mobile network operators (MNOs) to announce a 3G shutdown schedule.
