Italy’s Competition Authority (Autorita Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato, AGCM) has fined mobile and fixed broadband provider Iliad EUR1.2 million (USD1.3 million) for misleading promotion of its 5G services. The authority said that the company had omitted essential information or had used misleading wording in some of its 5G advertising, with insufficient clarity on 5G network coverage and handset compatibility.
