Trooli reportedly set for GBP200m equity sale

23 Feb 2022

UK-based pure fibre provider Trooli, which is aiming to reach at least one million premises passed across the country with its fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) infrastructure by end-2024, is reportedly close to launching an equity sale process that could raise up to GBP200 million (USD272 million). According to ISPreview, with the funds raised from the equity sale expected to significantly accelerate the operator’s rollout target, it has been suggested it could look to increase its coverage target to 2.1 million by 2024. With it understood that financial advisory and asset management firm Lazard is preparing to start the equity sale process for Trooli, possibly by the end of Q1 2022, ISPreview cites Trooli as confirming that the reports are accurate, though it declined to offer an official comment on the matter.
