Ooredoo expands FTTH to new areas, Saham to follow

Ooredoo Oman has announced the expansion of its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband service to additional locations in the Sultanate. Customers in areas of Samail Lizeg and Amerat Saih Al Dhabi are now able to access maximum speeds of 1Gbps on the network, with Saham scheduled to be added at the end of the month. Ooredoo’s ‘Fibre Home Internet’ is already available in several locations across the county, including parts of the cities of Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, Al Batinah, Al Musannah, Nizwa, Ibri, Ibra, Rustaq and Barka.
