Telus expands 2.5Gbps fibre to Edmonton, Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley

Canadian full-service telco Telus has expanded its ‘PureFibre X’ fibre broadband service with symmetrical 2.5Gbps download/upload data speeds to the city of Edmonton in Alberta province and to the British Columbian areas of Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. Telus initially launched 2.5Gbps PureFibre X in June 2021 in parts of Calgary (Alberta) before embarking on plans to expand the premium service to locations across Alberta and British Columbia. The operator highlights that its fibre speeds are ‘the fastest in Canada among all major providers’.
