GlobalConnect completes Telenor Sweden fibre deal

GlobalConnect says it has completed its acquisition of Telenor Sweden’s wholesale fibre operation Open Universe as well as its single dwelling unit (SDU) fibre assets. Under the deal, which was announced in November, GlobalConnect has inherited approximately 200,000 connected homes on Open Universe’s platform and 14,000 connected homes via the SDU fibre infrastructure. It now has 549,000 connected households.
