Ooredoo connects more locations to FTTH network

Ooredoo Oman has announced the expansion of its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband service to additional locations in the Sultanate. Customers in areas of Ruwi Expansion, South and North of Quryat Al Sahel, Bidiya and Sur are now able to access maximum speeds of 1Gbps on the network. Ooredoo’s ‘Fibre Home Internet’ is already available in several locations across the county, including parts of the cities of Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, Al Batinah, Al Musannah, Nizwa, Ibri, Ibra, Rustaq and Barka.
