Danish utility group EWII has agreed to acquire Odense-based ISP Kviknet for an undisclosed sum. Klaus Hieronymus Stenger, Director of Sales and Customer Service at EWII, said: ‘We have a strategy aiming to deliver fast and secure broadband to all Danes. Our ambition with Kviknet is that we work together to expand our position in the broadband market.’ EWII disclosed that it will retain the Kviknet banner in the short-term. Kviknet, which was established in 2013 by entrepreneur Yoel Caspersen, offers services over TDC Net’s DSL network.
