Telenor starts offering MaxSpeed over Onefiber network

15 Dec 2021

Danish operator Telenor has revealed that 10,000 households in Zealand with access to Onefiber’s network can now benefit from its MaxSpeed product. In July 2021 Telenor signed a wholesale agreement to provide services on the Onefiber network via the OpenNet platform. A total of 2.5 million households in Denmark have access to MaxSpeed downlinks of up to 1Gbps. Lars Kyro, Internet Manager at Telenor, said: ‘We want to make sure that there are more options on the shelf when Danes have to choose their internet [plan]. For the many addresses connected to the fibre network, the lightning-fast speeds are gradually becoming a hygiene factor. That is why we are focusing elsewhere. MaxSpeed has stable and fast internet at fair prices, but what makes us unique is the easy access to service and advice in our stores and by phone … This is the primary reason why more and more Danes are choosing us.’
