Hotwire deploys Nokia’s 25G PON solution

South Florida-based ISP Hotwire Communications claims that it has become the first company in the United States to deploy Nokia’s ‘25G PON’ equipment in the field. As per the vendor’s website: ‘25G PON enhances convergence on a passive optical network (PON), delivering disruptive 10Gbps services or higher, premium enterprise services, 5G transport and wholesale.’

Founded in 2002, Fort Lauderdale-based Hotwire Communications presides over a network footprint that spans Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon and California.
