Globe Telecom extends GoWiFi footprint

Filipino operator Globe Telecom has extended the reach of its free ‘GoWiFi’ service to over 3,700 locations nationwide to meet pent up demand for reliable internet access in public areas. The telco’s latest expansion covers a number of government sites, as well as supermarkets, hospitals, schools and airports, it said, including the city halls of Quezon, Mandaluyong, Bacoor, Puerto Galera, Davao and Antipolo.

Commenting on the service expansion, Globe Business Development and Marketing Director, Janis Nathalie Racpan, said: ‘We are happy to be at the forefront of digitisation in the country through Wi-Fi solutions catering to everyone’s online needs.’
