Ooredoo expands FTTH services to additional areas

Ooredoo Oman has announced the expansion of its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband service to additional locations in the Sultanate. Customers in Saraa in Al Buraimi, Al Bustan in Muscat, Al Bilad in Sur, Ibra, Hay Al Kawthar in Al Khoud, and Al Jinaynah and Al Argan in Barka are now able to access maximum speeds of 1Gbps on the network. Ooredoo’s ‘Fibre Home Internet’ is already available in several locations across the county, including parts of the cities of Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, Al Batinah, Al Musannah, Nizwa, Ibri, Ibra, Rustaq and Barka.
