Slovak cableco UPC has announced the latest expansion of its gigabit internet coverage. The US-owned firm says it has covered new areas in Kosice, Zvolen, Dunajska Streda, Bardejov and Nove Zamky, having earlier carried out upgrade work in Zilina. It now passes more than 435,000 households in 19 cities with gigabit-capable infrastructure, up from 297,000 in May this year and 320,000 in June.
