Telecom Namibia brings 4G connectivity to Groot Aub

Telecom Namibia (TN) has announced its 4G LTE network was activated in Groot Aub on 30 October, as part of the operator’s ‘commitment to bridging the digital divide and bringing services closer to all Namibians’. Customers in the settlement located approximately 60km south of Windhoek can now access TN’s 4G services across a range of smart devices, including 4G compatible smartphones, smart routers, pocket Wi-Fi devices and 4G hotspots.

‘This latest 4G upgrade further cements TN’s commitment to invest in infrastructure upgrades that enable digital transformation and consistently enable a superior online experience for customers,’ the company said in a press release. Felicitas Kakoro-Gowases, Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy, added: ‘We have made a huge effort to deliver unbeatable data packages, enhancing customer experience and we encourage Groot Aub residents to get onto the digital superhighway.’
