TIM reports 2.1% fall in Q3 sales

Telecom Italia Group (TIM Group) has recorded revenues of EUR3.84 billion (USD4.46 billion) in the third quarter of 2021, down 2.1% year-on-year on a comparable basis. Domestic sales dropped 3.2% y-o-y to EUR3.11 billion, while turnover in Brazil was up 2.8% at EUR731 million. Group EBITDA fell 5.9% to EUR1.67 billion, while net profit attributable to shareholders stood at EUR200 million. The Group had 19.17 million mobile subscriptions in Italy at the end of September, plus a further 11.30 million M2M connections. There were 8.73 million fixed broadband subscriptions at the same date. TIM Brasil had 51.61 million mobile subscriptions at end-September, up from 51.16 million a year before.
