Telekom Malaysia has announced that its wholesale arm TM WHOLESALE has entered into a collaboration with nine tower providers, enabling access to tower sites facilities. In a press release the company said the development ‘marked another milestone as the national connectivity and digital infrastructure provider’, adding that under the collaboration the nine towercos will open access to their tower sites, including land and rooftop facilities. This will reportedly enable Telekom Malaysia to connect the towers with its high speed fibre-optic network to support high quality network performance and capability. The nine tower companies involved are the members of Persatuan Penyedia Infrastruktur Telekomunikasi (PPIT), namely: D’Harmoni Telco Infra; Melaka ICT Holdings; Perlis Comm;, Infra Quest; Perak Integrated Network Services; EdgePoint Towers; PDC Telecommunication Services; Desabina Industries; and Yiked Bina.
