US telecoms giant AT&T Inc has reported consolidated operating revenues of USD39.92 billion for the three months ended 30 September 2021, down from USD42.34 billion on an annualised basis. EBITDA for the period under review dipped to USD12.73 billion, from USD13.16 billion year-on-year, while third quarter operating income increased from USD6.13 billion to USD7.11 billion. Meanwhile, net income attributable to AT&T climbed from USD2.82 billion to USD5.92 billion in 3Q21.
In operational terms, AT&T reported a total of 196.519 million mobile subscriptions in its domestic market as of 30 September 2021, which includes 6.263 million reseller accounts and 90.979 million connected devices. In terms of its Consumer Wireline business, AT&T claimed 14.180 million fixed broadband subscriptions, of which 5.721 million are connected via fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) networks. Elsewhere, AT&T’s ‘International’ segment reported 19.473 million mobile subscriptions in Mexico as of end-September 2021.
